In the past few years Rapleys’ income from building consultancy has increased 300%, catapulting the man behind it to managing partner of the whole firm

When Building’s most recent Top 150 Consultants list was published last October, only an eagle-eyed observer would have picked up on new entry Rapleys at 63. In its more than 70 years of operation, the firm has generally been better known for its planning and real estate advice than its building consultancy but, in the past few years, the firm has been building a fast-growing and increasingly diverse offering in the area. So how have they done it, and where do they go from here?
